Follow the official source close to the trip date
Check the official Istanbul weather forecast from the Turkish State Meteorological Service, and do not rely on an old screenshot or a long-range forecast alone. Ask the team about the status of the tour on its exact date, especially if it includes a sea or outdoor activity. This guide is not a weather forecast or a confirmation that a specific activity will run.
Choose what can be discussed before booking
If you prefer not to walk long distances in the rain, say so in your request. You can discuss indoor stops or a program that relies less on open-air places, while confirming entry times, tickets and included services. Having a car does not turn every sight into an indoor place, and it does not guarantee you avoid walking between the vehicle and the entrance.
Ask about alternatives to the boat trip
For boat programs, ask the team to confirm the operating status and the boarding-point instructions. Do not decide to go to the pier or cancel the booking because of rain alone; conditions and arrangements may differ between programs. If there is an operational change, get the details in writing, including anything about the time, the service and the booking.
Plan a flexible day, not a long list
